The Heart Behind the Lens

Honest Words

Ten years ago, I started capturing images as a way to find my own rhythm; today, that passion has evolved into a professional mission to document history. I’ve spent a decade learning how to stay out of the way, focusing on the soft play of light and the genuine connections in front of me. It’s in those subtle, unposed moments—well away from the spotlight—where I find the most meaning.

I believe in the beauty of the found object and the well-worn story. As an avid thrifter, I’ve learned that the most meaningful things aren't found in trends, but in the artifacts that have survived the journey with their character intact. This deep appreciation for what lasts is rooted in my love for my family—they are the heartbeat behind every record I choose to preserve.

I have a deep love for the silence of snow. It slows everything down, much like the way a lens pauses a moment so we can archive it forever. For those ready to step into the elements and capture an adventure in the snow, I’m right there with you. I believe those cold, crisp moments often hold the warmest stories.

This perspective is the heartbeat of my work. My goal is to move beyond the temporary and curate a lasting legacy for your family. By honoring the truth of your experience, I make sure your history isn't just a collection of images, but a tangible piece of your past that carries its character into the future.
